dance

I chose to pursue dance because music has always been an integral part of my life. Growing up, I was deeply connected to music, and it inspired me to explore how I could express myself through movement.

My dance journey began at a young age, starting with Gymnastics from the age of 3 to 10, which helped me build strength, flexibility, and coordination.

At 11, I transitioned to Jazz Dance, continuing to develop my technical skills until I was 13. But it wasn’t until 14 that I truly discovered my passion for competitive and professional dance: I joined a new dance school where I immersed myself in a diverse range of styles, including Boogie Woogie, Twist, Rock ‘n’ Roll Acrobatic, Swing Dance, Dance Show, Disco Dance, and Hip Hop. This diverse training laid the foundation for my career as a dancer and choreographer.

Alongside National and International Competitions, I gained valuable performance experience through local shows, including preparing for grand Christmas and year-end recitals. These performances taught me more than just stage presence; they fueled my creativity and helped me develop performance skills that would later shape my future in choreography.

At just 18, after four years of dedicated training, I was honored to be appointed as a Dance Instructor and Choreographer. This milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter in my career and life. My role expanded beyond active dancing and choreography as I was also entrusted with creating the visual aspects of our performances: curating conceptual designs for stage scenographies, designing costumes, editing background videos, personally editing and tailoring the music for each routine, and more.

Mentoring my students for competitions was also an essential part of my work. I guided them not only in technique but in performance, helping them excel both on stage and in competitions. Through this, I built strong, lasting connections with my students and their families, creating bonds that continue to support me in my dance career even years later.

In 2011, I transitioned to another dance school, where I played a key role in its growth. Starting with just 30 students, the school expanded to over 100 by 2019. During my time there, I primarily focused on choreography, teaching, and creating opportunities for my students to perform in shows and compete in local competitions. One of my proudest achievements was choreographing a routine for over 120 students, all performing together on stage for a major presentation. However, during this time, I chose to temporarily put my personal dance aspirations on hold and focus on expanding my skill set.

Diving into the fitness world in 2015, I became a certified Zumba Instructor, followed by certifications in Zumba Kids & Jr. the next year, while also working as an Aerobics and Step Instructor at a local gym.

I reignited my dance career in 2019, starting with music and dance videos and re-entering the competitive scene as part of a Hip Hop Crew.

In 2020, I moved to the United States, ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities in dance, which was a dream come true.

It provided me with the opportunity to further refine my skills and begin auditioning for larger projects (one of which led to my role as a featured dancer in “The Young Wife” movie). During this time, I also worked as a Gymnastics Instructor at the YMCA and also served as a Fitness Trainer at various fitness centers.

Currently, I am continuing my dance education by taking Ballet classes to refine my technique and Heels classes to enhance my versatility. I also travel across Georgia and Florida, training with renowned Hip Hop and Reggaeton choreographers.

Driven by a lifelong commitment to dance, I desire to keep evolving as an artist, educator, and performer. Whether through performing, collaborating, or teaching, my goal is to inspire others and bring my creative vision to life. I’m always open to new opportunities to grow and connect with like-minded professionals and dancers.
